What’s your writing background? When did you begin writing and what inspired you?
I am dyslexic so throughout schooling barely managed to pass English. It wasn’t until I had a life changing experience when I was on the brink of committing suicide that I found the ‘I AM’ within. This was the catalyst that ‘woke me up’ and put me firmly on a spiritual path. However it didn’t mean that life suddenly became easy but it did provide a basis from which to grow as I viewed life from a different perspective.
I became interested in spiritual enlightenment, metaphysics, self-empowerment and self-healing. The self-healing I used to heal myself of the many traumatic experiences that were deeply hidden. Continuing to learn more, I moved onto personal development, soul growth, the sub-conscious, other dimensions, spirit possession, the power of love, the effect fear and negativity has on our lives, and ventured into many areas of thought where people fear to tread.
I became a practising Master Practitioner and Councillor of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and hypnotherapy. I have also studied massage and reflexology as well as becoming a psychic/intuitive, spirit removal specialist and life coach. Much of my knowledge being taught to me from my spirit guides and is shared through my book Facing Demons.
It was through the desire to inspire and empower people as well as to share this knowledge that I began to write. My journey as described in Facing Demons has been written over many years and was added to each time I moved through different events in my life both on a personal level and as a practitioner. Thus the subtitle ‘An Unfolding Journey’.
Spirit of Self and Star is Happy are the first two children’s books each of their own series. They were written in the middle of the night and early mornings. I had an urge to do so that I couldn’t ignore and had a lot of help from ‘Spirit’ with the writing of them.
Spirit of Self in the Finding Spirit series shows children how find their own inner strength and essence, and Star is Happy has been created for children to help them understand their feelings and emotions, and to learn that they can love and be loved.
I have no set plan to write. I have written about six books for each of the children’s series but have no idea when I will write again. When it happens it happens through Source. When the inspiration is there, the writing flows and Source sees to it that a gap appears in my appointments and I have the time to write.
In which genre do you most enjoy writing?
My books are non-fiction, inspirational/self-help/spiritual books that touch the heart and help people on their journey.
What draws you to write in that genre?
I couldn’t write anything but books that touch people through truth, honesty and inspiration. It is one of the ways I choose to give to the world.
Can you tell me about your current project(s)?
There’s book two in the Finding Spirit series, Spirit of Water and book two in the Feelings of Star series, Star is Hungry.
I am also building my private practice specialising in psychic readings and the removal of unwanted spirits or entities both face-to-face and through Skype. Being a Master Practitioner and Councillor of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and a Hypnotherapist, I also work in all other fields that hypnosis can assist in. This is an interview where I talk about my work in this area.
What are your writing plans for the future?
Perhaps a book that explains more about working with and understanding Spirit removal as in rescue work, exorcism and the removal of unwanted attachments.
